Sara Rex

Sara is pursuing a major in Political Science and a minor in Law & Society in the College of Arts and Sciences. Prior to becoming Editor-in-Chief, she served in roles including Finance Director, Executive Editor, and Head of Layout & Design. During her tenure at PULJ, she created the Penn Carey Law mentorship program, General Body Member designation, and Layout & Design team. She published editions of PULJ both from her time as Editor-in-Chief and the preexisting backlog. She also took the club out of debt as Finance Director and strengthened the financial position of the club by forming new partnerships with sponsors.

Sara interned at Kirkland & Ellis and the Federal Trade Commission. She was an intern at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid for four years, coordinating projects to improve polling place accessibility for voters with disabilities and assess business impacts on lower income Minneapolis communities. She was also a Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan Equity Research and Dyal Capital Partners, a division of Blue Owl Capital. Sara was Photography Director of the WALK magazine and is a Writing Fellow at the Marks Family Writing Center.
