Marissa Ephron

Marissa is a junior from South Florida in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Law and Society and Modern Middle Eastern Studies. Marissa is primarily interested in international human rights law, criminal justice reform, and immigration/refugee law. Upon graduating, she plans on attending law school after working for a year or two. Outside of PULJ, Marissa is a board member of Penn Justice Democrats and Fenjan, Penn’s journal on the Middle East and North Africa. She also works as a research assistant at Penn studying human rights violations at UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Middle East, serves on the Political Science Undergraduate Council, and tutors with Penn for Refugee Empowerment. |
