Vishwajeet Deshmukh

Vishwajeet Deshmukh is a 5th-year law student at Government Law College, Mumbai, India. He is a recipient of The Tata – 1947 Partition Archive Research Grant 2021 for his research on the 1947 Partition of British India and its impact on minorities. He serves on the editorial board of Bologna Law Review (University of Bologna Italy), JURIST (Pittsburgh, USA) and Indian Constitutional Law Review Quarterly. He was a part of the Young Critics Lab Cohort of 2020 at the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images Mumbai Film Festival and is trained as a film critic. He was awarded the Jeannie Shawl Award for Journalistic Excellence. He is the publisher of the Journal of Intersectional Analysis, established to increase the discussion on “intersectionality” in India.
