"Esther is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Finance and Statistics in Wharton, and minoring in Mathematics. Her main areas of interest are human rights, education policy and international development. She has been actively engaged with research since the start of college. In summer 2021, she contributed to a timely report published by the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights, concerning the human rights risks caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the Indian coffee and sugarcane supply chains. Prior to this, she was the Data Tsar at the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program and a research assistant under Professor of Political Science Michael Horowitz at the Perry World House through the Penn Undergraduate Research Mentoring Program, where she studied attitudes, investments, and confidence-building measures concerning military adoption of artificial intelligence technology. Outside of her studies, she is also a TA for LGST 101: Law and Social Values, tutor for the Penn Weingarten Center, and a member of Wharton Asia Exchange, Penn Undergraduate Law Journal, Full Measure A Cappella, Penn Baroque Chamber Orchestra and the Renewal College Fellowship." |
